Here at Gladstone Aquatic we are extremely lucky to have such a diverse team. Filled with many duty managers, swimming instructors, group fitness instructors and lifeguards.
This May we would like to introduce you to lifeguard Shenay! Many members have probably spotted Shenay walking around the pool. As part of her job as a lifeguard, Shenay meets so many different people. Her favourite part of her job is greeting the public and getting plenty of exercise as she walks around the pool.
Outside of work, Shenay loves to spend time with her family and her pet dog.
Following tradition, the team took a minute to ask Shenay what her favourite ice cream is from our available range.
“My favourite ice cream is the Connoisseur Salted Pretzel”.

What is the role of a Lifeguard?
A lifeguard is responsible for the safety of all patrons in and around the pool.
Our lifeguards are fundamental to the safety and enjoyment of our members and guests, therefore applicants require customer service, pool supervision and time management skills.
