Last month we hosted a Fun Day Fundraiser for the late Terry Fellow.
Terry was a truly kind-hearted man who volunteered his time to the Gladstone Gladiators Swim club to coach members of the disability community correct strokes for competitive swimming. He was always positive and smiling and warmed the hearts of everyone he met.
Last month, the Gladstone Gladiators and The BlueFit team at Gladstone Aquatic Centre came together and put on what will now be dubbed “The Terry Fellows Fun Day”.
BlueFit supplied staffing, inflatable and sausages for the event while the club organised raffles, drinks and paid head entry for the event.
All proceeds are going towards a plaque in memory of Terry Fellows and will be hung up in the clubhouse as a reminder of this beautiful soul and all he had done for the club.
We hope to continue running the Terry Fellows Fun Day once a year in memory of Terry!
