Even though you only see our busy workers in action around the pool, they actually get up to a lot more outside Gladstone Aquatic! We have Amber one of our Duty Managers, as well as Sam and Maddi are both trainee lifeguards at Gladstone and they are both aiming to be qualified in their studies in their spare time.
We have Casey who has completed her traineeship units, with Maddi & Sam close behind! Now all they have to do is finish their hours, get them signed off and they will have achieved a completed Certificate III in Sport and Recreation.
Amber began studying at CQ University to be a high school teacher this year and she has now completed her first term achieving Distinctions for all units!
