We are excited to share with you that the upgrades to our 25m pool remain on track and we anticipate it to resume operations in June 2022. However, due to supply issues associated with the upgraded 50m pool heating system, we have had to cancel several classes due to less than desirable pool temperatures.
Gladstone Regional Council is expediting the upgrades to the heating system to enable improved pool temperatures soon, and we anticipate the water temperature to improve after the Easter long weekend.
Due to delays outside of our control, we have made the difficult decision to suspend all swim school lessons with immediate effect – with all lesson fees suspended. This decision had not been made lightly, given the impact on our families and local team members. However, this action was deemed necessary as not to compromise the quality of the program you and your children have become accustomed to at Gladstone.
Swimming lessons will resume on Tuesday, 19 April 2022, subject to the heating system being commissioned.
